Organised by Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK), a not-for-profit organisation bringing together US early-stage investors and disruptive UK start-ups to accelerate the growth of innovative
new companies, the 2015 Scale Up Club was announced on 6 November at the London Stock Exchange – and translate plus are proud to be a part of it.

With an average annual growth rate of 110%, the members of the Scale Up Club generate a combined turnover of £300m, employing 3,100 people across the UK and beyond.

“The business is continuing to grow at a very exciting rate,” said company director Robert Timms, who represented translate plus at Friday’s SVC2UK CEO Summit. “As well as making for a dynamic environment, one in which an agile response to customer needs is the key to innovation, this growth also creates great opportunities for our staff as new teams and roles are added.”

SVC2UK was founded in 2006 by angel investor Sherry Coutu, US investor Ellen Levy and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman to encourage high-impact entrepreneurship. Read more about their work on the SVC2UK website.
