We are very excited to announce that translate plus have been awarded a place on the new nationwide public-sector language services framework.

Let by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), the UK government’s central procurement body, contract RM1092 is a comprehensive framework covering language services available to any public-sector organisation across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The contract includes written translation, telephone interpreting, face-to-face interpreting, sign language and related services, and replaces the previous separate contracts for these services (RM987, RM738 and CAG/912/0181).

translate plus will be providing written translation, proofreading, transcription and related text services under RM1092 as part of a consortium led by WorldWide Language Resources, which also includes best-of-class service provision from the Language Shop, Cintra, Clarion UK and Remote Interpreting. By combining industry-leading expertise for each service area, the consortium is in the unique position of being able to offer the highest-quality specialisation while also being able to fully support the large-scale requirements of the public sector.

The consortium operates as a single entity for contract users, providing a seamless managed service no matter what the type, volume or extent of language services needed. Contract users benefit from ISO-certified quality complemented by technological innovation, customised management information and a proactive approach to account management – all of which represent a breath of fresh air compared to previous contractual arrangements from inflexible “one-size-fits-all” providers.
