We are delighted to announce that translate plus have been named the winners of the Gold Stevie® Award in the Business Services category in the 10th Annual International Business AwardsSM on Wednesday 14 August!
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards programme. All individuals and organisations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2013 IBAs received entries from more than 50 nations and territories.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned”, the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the W Hotel in Barcelona, Spain, on 14 October, where translate plus will be in attendance after a busy week exhibiting at the EiG Gaming fair!
More than 3,300 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. The level of applications was extremely high, and the Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 250 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process this year.
translate plus, as winners of the Gold Company of the Year Award in the Business Services category, were judged on our achievements, innovative spirit, industry reputation, customer service and quality, employee satisfaction and corporate social responsibility. “To be awarded a Gold Stevie is a great achievement for translate plus, and it makes us very proud to be honoured alongside recipients such as Lufthansa, Diageo and WordPress,” said Robert Timms, Director of translate plus.
Per Severinsen, who co-founded translate plus with Robert five years ago, added: “We continue to push ourselves every day to be the best within our industry and to deliver more than what our clients expect, so it’s a great feeling to have the whole team’s hard work recognised on such a prestigious level.”
“The 2013 International Business Awards are noteworthy for featuring the best collection of entries we have ever received,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “The judges have been unanimous in their comments about the quality of achievements, and the expertise with which they were portrayed, in the nominations we received this year. We extend our most heartfelt congratulations to all of this year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners.”
