translate plus, part of Publicis Groupe, are happy to announce that we have passed this year’s ISO audits with zero non-compliances for another year.
The audits were related to our existing ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 17100 certifications, which translate plus currently hold.

Since 2014, we invite an independent third party to conduct an annual review of our existing systems and internal processes. These thorough checks, which are carried out by international experts, help us to ensure that our operational objectives and management procedures remain up to par on a year-to-year basis. Such procedures include effective Quality Assurance workflows, environmental management practices to promote sustainability and reduce waste, as well as processes specifically related to the delivery of translation services.
The requirements for these ISO certifications are briefly set out as follows:
ISO 9001: the world’s most widely recognized quality management standard.
- Demonstrating the ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, whilst aiming to “enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of systems, including processes for improvement of these systems and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.” Read more here.
ISO 14001: the Environmental Management standard.
This standard was last reviewed and confirmed in 2021.
- Enhancing environmental performance through environmental responsibilities and objectives in a “systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability”.
ISO 17100: the internationally and widely recognised standard for translation service providers.
- Demonstrating conformity and the capability to deliver a translation service that meets and exceeds client needs, as well as other ‘applicable specifications’ including industry codes, best-practice guides, legislation and other.
In addition to the above mentioned ISO certifications, translate plus also holds the ISO 27001 for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system, as well as the ISO 18587 for post-editing of machine translation output.
