New case study – Google – revolutionising e-learning across Europe

Published on June 6th, 2016

Google developed its Computer Science First (CS First) programme with the aim of providing children between the ages of 9 and 14 with access to computer science – a skill that is highly valued in this day and age given that much of the business workflow is founded upon technology. The programme has already impacted 300,600 students across America and is going from strength to strength.

With the growing success of the programme across the US, Google decided it was time roll it out to Europe. However, they needed to ensure that their brand voice and identity did not get lost in translation. With the help of translate plus’ expertise in video localisation, along with our knowledge of diverse cultures and access to a database of over 11,000 in-country linguists, Google is now able to provide engaging, educational multimedia content in Italian, French and German.
