Robert Timms, Director, will be participating in the professional panel at the “Making Languages Work for You” event organised by the careers service of Queen Mary University, London.

On Friday 5 March, this one-day conference at the university’s School of Languages, Linguistics and Film will showcase the importance of learning languages for university graduates and secondary school students. As a member of the professional panel, Robert will be giving an insight into working for a leading translation company.

“For those considering where their language degree could take them – or who are wondering whether to study languages in the first place – it’s a privilege to be able to talk about the many opportunities out there,” explained Robert. “Those attending the event will hear what it’s like to work in the language business, and will hear about the roles played by project managers, translators, interpreters, and others connected with the process of translation and localisation.”
