ISO 27001: Information security in translation and localisation

Published on October 8th, 2018

At translate plus we pride ourselves on innovation and information security. That’s why our new ISO 27001 certification takes a special place on our wall.

ISO 27001 is a globally recognised information security certification for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an ISMS (information security management system). It ensures that all aspects of a company’s information risk management processes – legal, physical and technical, are up to the latest standards.

Being certified to this ISO standard is very important as this demonstrates our long-standing commitment to improving our security practices to ensure that we have robust procedures in place.

Our strong IT and overall operational processes are also fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means the standards to which we hold and safeguard personal information are up to par with the latest regulations as well.

What does this mean for our clients?

  • Firm reassurance that all client data is safely stored within our systems
  • The way we handle all client data is structured and in line with best practices
  • Our ISMS is up to date with the latest requirements
